My adorable, cheeky, smiley little man. You've always loved making faces into mirrors, but today you realised you could use this one to stand up, to high 5, to move ~ you loved it! It was the cutest thing to watch. You were so very proud of yourself! You're climbing up on everything these days, I don't think walking will be far off now. You're very much a boy & throw yourself into every movement/plan ~ there are lots of bumps/tears/cuddles of course as you learn to use your little body. You keep me on my toes + bring so many smiles to my face ~ thank you for the entertainment! {Oh, and your curly mohawk ~ killing me!}

In other news, I'm glad I didn't decide to give up coffee for the new year ~ it's a god send when Leo wakes up around 5am each morning. At least he's sleeping through the night, I constantly remind myself! He's on the go as soon as he's had his feed + brekkie; climbing up + trying to find/eat every remote in sight. When Mick gets up for work, both their faces light up, I love it. I'm going to miss husby as Leo + I leave Friday for my sister's hens, but we'll see him the following week for her wedding. I'm so excited to see my family as we missed each other over Christmas. I'm not sure how/if I'll be able to blog over that week, but you can keep up to date via Instagram or Twitter or Flickr. I'll use my iPhone for those days of the 366 photo challenge so I can share via Instagram/Flickr. I'm loving this idea of documenting delight every day ~ it makes me look for the special moments + lock them in my mind. A version of the 'grateful project' I've always wanted to do...

ps I know exactly how you feel! Eva went through a long period of time when she would wake up between 5-5:30am! Torture! Thankfully she was sleeping through the night.

And what is with toddlers and remotes!!! They are obsessed aren't they?!
What lovely pics...My little fella must be about the same age, pulling himself up on everything he can and hunting out the remotes and anything else mummy & daddy use!

hippyhappymama ~ it's adorable!! now we pretend to not be fascinated by them ~ or hate them! haha! yes, & phones! we got him a fisher price toy phone, but he's not really interested! Leo is 9.5 months now :)
