Some more holiday snaps from the past week to share as well as catching up on my 366/2012 photo a day challenge! I hope you enjoy!

10/366 | documenting delight | leo + balloon

Another day being our little helper out & about doing errands. Lucky your Nanna & Grandpa bought this stroller as I don't think I could have fit anything else on our plane trip down! We were in Wendy's flower shop organising the bouquets for the wedding + you were a little restless so I was rocking you back & forth as you love movement. Wendy blew up this helium balloon for you to play with & your were suddenly in baby heaven with your first ever balloon. So many firsts ahead of you little man, it's so grounding to see your delight in the simplest things in life. I can learn so much from your view of the world!

Lots of beautiful days, gorgeous sunsets, shopping for the wedding, yummy food + drinks! {And lots of rockin' my beloved Spell turquoise kimono!}

11/366 | documenting delight | calm amongst the chaos

Yet another day, in a different place, relying on your fabulous ability to adapt to changing situations. I couldn't have asked for a more easy going, chilled + happy bub. Amongst the shopping centre madness {still school holidays} I took you to the lovely parents room for your lunch time breastfeed. The calm & quiet moment amongst the hectic happenings outside. Would I have been taking the time to centre myself & breathe if you weren't here? I am so thankful for you & happy that I can make you so happy from a natural action like breastfeeding.

Leo's first hammock experience ~ can't say he was too sure about it all! A bit of fun though! Wore this Suboo 'Cortez' kaftan multiple times on our little break! {Thanks Mum for doing the washing so I could wear my favourite things more than once! You're a keeper!}



12/366 | documenting delight | sleeping beauty

Darling boy, you were in such pain today from your eye teeth coming through! You were in my bed most of the night, with not much rest between you waking in pain again. I did everything I could think of, but my cuddles couldn't take away your pain. Eventually you fell into a deep sleep, hogging most of the bed, but I didn't care as you looked so peaceful sleeping, my beautiful boy. I thought you would be more happy in dreamland at this point, then awake & not happy with your teething pain. You are the cutest little thing!

Of course we had to catch up with my mama friends whilst back home ~ what a spin out to be at the age where we get together for baby play dates?! It was pretty damn adorable & great to converse with mamas of bubs a very similar age! Beautiful afternoon!

13/366 | documenting delight | playground grins

Here you are in your element, playing on the local playground, with 3 other baby mates. Climbing up, crawling around, trying to eat anything on the ground, showing off to anyone who would look ~ I'm glad we had this spontaneous baby play date ~ I loved catching up with the mamas ~ but it was worth it to see this face. I'm possibly more in love with you then ever. Your happiness is my happiness. Look at those glinting gorgeous eyes ~ you are an angel!

It was secret squirrel from Dad, but Uncle Bob's Jug Band were going to be playing at my sister's wedding the next day {booked in secret by Lib & Alex who love them nearly as much as father dearest!} Dad had no clue about Saturday & made a beeline for their gig when he saw they were playing on the Friday night, so I joined him & my brother for some pre-wedding drinks + dancing! {Although they left it mainly up to me to complete the dancing section of the evening!} He chatted to the band afterward {he's been a fan for 20 odd years I think we worked out} & they kept the secret like legends! His face was priceless when he saw them setting up at the wedding reception! Golden!
