My beautiful little Leo ~ you were outside with your big sister {who you absolutely love to bits} + then you spied me in my office + started waving & hitting the window. You just lit up like I was your favourite person in the world. It's only the second day, but already I'm so glad I'm taking part in this photo-a-day challenge for 2012 because these little moments, making sure I capture that instant of you being so excited + in turn melting my heart... that's living, baby. I don't mind whether it's a beautiful photo on our good camera or a quick one off snap on the iPhone camera through glass that needs cleaning ~ it's all about these precious moments. I adore you!

I'm sure than in the future, when you will look at this picture, you won't realize of the model of the camera or the dirty in the glass but of the beauty of your children!!

Thank you Cara ~ I agree! I wasn't sure if I would focus on one subject, but I think I might now, & maybe include some other things for the day that were awesome as well.. Finding my groove :)
I agree colorfulsigh ~ I don't mind at all, it's so lucky to even have a camera on standby for moments like these! :)
anon ~ I have a 10 year old step-daughter, she doesn't live with us, but we're now in the same town & we can see her a lot more which is great! she used to come down for school holidays + she's been on here a few times. I try not to post too many photos of her for privacy reasons as I'm not her mum & it's not my call whether her photos are shared. As much as I'd like to show her beautiful face all the time! She was the flower girl at our wedding + one of my featured pages on the Make It Happen book if you're after more happy snaps :)
